The Rigol RSA3000 series is engineered to handle complex RF challenges such as frequency hopping, signal interference, and channel conflict, often encountered in modern technologies like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and cellular communications. This series is particularly effective for engineers working with wireless systems, RF testing, and embedded systems requiring both RF signal and digital bus signal analysis.
The RSA3000 features a Real-Time Spectrum Analyzer that can capture signals with a duration as short as 7.45 µs, ensuring full analysis of even the most fleeting signals. It combines a real-time bandwidth of 10 MHz (with optional upgrades to 25 MHz or 40 MHz) and a minimum resolution bandwidth (RBW) of 10 Hz (with a 1 Hz option) to provide detailed insights into signal behavior over amplitude, frequency, and time.
The tracking generator is ideal for characterizing RF signals across the 100 kHz – 4.5 GHz range, while the Frequency-Mask-Trigger allows engineers to isolate specific signal characteristics. With an optional pre-amplifier, the RSA3000 series achieves an impressive DANL of -161 dBm, making it an excellent choice for high-sensitivity applications.
The analyzer also provides EMI compliance testing with standard EMI filters and detectors at 9 kHz, 120 kHz, and 1 MHz RBWs. The addition of the advanced measurement kit and EMI pre-compliance test software (available optionally) offers even more capabilities, ensuring that this spectrum analyzer can handle a wide variety of RF testing applications.
The 10.1” TFT color touchscreen makes data viewing easy and intuitive, while its compact and lightweight design makes it ideal for benchtop or field testing applications.
