The Hailo-8 M.2 2280 B+M Key Extended Temperature module integrates the Hailo-8 AI processor into a standard M.2 form factor with a B+M Key connector, delivering 26 TOPS of real-time AI processing power for edge devices. The B+M Key interface is compatible with a wider range of host systems than M Key alone, including many embedded computing platforms, IoT gateways, and industrial SBCs that offer only B+M Key M.2 slots.

 

With a 2-lane PCIe Gen 3.0 interface providing up to 16 Gbps throughput, this module is well suited for applications including video analytics, smart surveillance, object detection, and industrial monitoring. The 2280 form factor (22 x 80 mm) features a breakable PCB extension that can be removed to resize to 2242 or 2260 for space-constrained deployments.

 

Extended temperature operation from -40 degrees C to 85 degrees C ensures reliable performance in industrial and outdoor environments. The module supports TensorFlow, TensorFlow Lite, Keras, PyTorch, and ONNX and is compatible with X86 and ARM host architectures running Linux or Windows.

The B+M Key connector is supported by the broadest range of host devices, including embedded computing platforms, industrial single-board computers, and IoT gateways that provide B+M Key M.2 slots, making this the most universally compatible Hailo-8 M.2 variant.

 

2-Lane PCIe Gen 3.0 Interface

Provides up to 16 Gbps of host interface bandwidth via 2-lane PCIe Gen 3.0, sufficient for the majority of real-time edge AI workloads while ensuring compatibility with host platforms that support 2-lane configurations.

 

Convertible 2280 Form Factor
