The DEWE3‑RMx is designed for permanent installation into control cabinets or laboratory racks, offering a scalable architecture with up to 16 TRION(3) slots. These slots allow complete customization of the system for a wide range of measurement types including voltage, current, strain, temperature, vibration, counters, and digital inputs.

The system supports simultaneous sampling at up to 10 MS/s per channel and allows high-speed, gap-free data recording at up to 1 GB/s, ensuring no loss during extended or high-frequency tests. The front-panel fans and air filter design make maintenance easy, even while mounted in a rack.

A front-end firmware mode enables the unit to operate under Linux, streaming data to external PCs over 1 GbE or optional 10 GbE network connections. For enhanced signal synchronization and to free up I/O slots, users can add a chassis controller that integrates all sync and communication ports directly on the housing.

The DEWE3‑RMx can also be upgraded to a DEWE3‑PA8‑RM power analyzer when fitted with TRION Power modules, delivering sub-0.03% measurement accuracy and integrated current transducer supply for advanced multi-phase power analysis.
