The SeaLINK+2/PC.SC (2228) is engineered for embedded PC environments requiring two reliable serial ports with flexible electrical configuration. Designed for chassis mounting with the included PC bracket, it connects internally to a USB header, removing clutter and improving durability in industrial applications.

Powered via USB and controlled through Sealevel’s SeaCOM drivers, the adapter offers full software control of each port’s interface—RS-232, RS-422, or RS-485—allowing for quick deployment or easy replacement without modifying physical settings.

Thanks to a state-machine UART design, the 2228 efficiently manages high-volume data communication with minimal processor strain. It’s an ideal solution for applications like factory automation, instrumentation, and point-of-sale where legacy COM port compatibility and clean system integration are required.
