The SeaLINK+4.SC (Model 2423) simplifies serial expansion by connecting up to four serial devices over one USB port. Each port can be configured in software as RS-232, RS-422, or RS-485 without physical changes. Whether you are upgrading a host system or deploying the unit across multiple PCs, settings are retained locally to ensure uninterrupted operation.

The unit is powered entirely through the USB interface and incorporates a highly-retentive USB Type B connector for reliable, locked-in connections. Its intelligent state-machine architecture minimizes CPU load during multi-port communication, making it ideal for industrial control systems, legacy serial device connectivity, and data acquisition setups.
