The Sealevel 2101 USB to Serial adapter enables easy integration of legacy RS-232 devices into modern USB-based systems. Its DB-25M connector is ideal for industrial controllers, legacy test equipment, and serial peripherals. The adapter utilizes a USB/UART chip and is USB 1.1 compliant and USB 2.0 compatible, making it highly versatile.

It supports maximum communication distances of 50 feet and operates at speeds up to 460.8 Kbps. Designed for dependable field performance, the 2101 includes a high-retention USB Type B connector, and is fully powered via the USB port, requiring only +5V @ 50mA.

Installation is simple—after installing SeaCOM drivers, the adapter is automatically recognized as a standard serial port by Windows or Linux systems. For applications requiring a DB-9 male connector, the 2105R model is recommended.
